Their performance will be proceeded with a conversation between Ntozake Shange '70 and acclaimed dance artist Dianne McIntyre. Webchoreopoem are, according to Shange, supposed to narrate the lines while dancing the poems. Hence, these are not poems set to music with accompanying dance steps, but rather an integration of speech, movement, gesture, and music that together comprise the choereopoem.This form, for Shange, serves as a new space for
