WebI played threw sonic mania and end the game with 40 lives my first time. The big thing about sonic is there is a certain level design flow to it that you only get after playing so many of the games. The gameplay is less about speed and more about momentum IMO . Honestly the only thing that was truly frustrating is the oil ocean act 2 boss.
