Mildly built 302 in front of it. Has shift kit installed when rebuilt last. B&M shifter. Tranny fluid looks and smells fine and is at capacity. WebMay 25, 2009 · The FMX is unfortunately underestimated. I have rebuilt maybe 20 FMX transmission and it is rarely any problems with them. They are way more rugged than the little C4 and almost equal effichiant. The downside is the weight and the valvebody/servo design. But the weight difference is only 25kg so it isnt a big deal.
