WebMenemsha is part of the Town of Chilmark. It is a historic small working fishing village. The same fishing families have been coming and going from Menemsha for years. Some even have retail fish markets in Menemsha. WebWe tried Homeport ONCE about 10 years ago, and we could (and DO) much better lobster and clam chowder and other dishes at home at Nana & Poppa's house on the island. That is the reason that we don't go out, but I had heard about Homeport for so long that we decided to give it a shot.
